I don’t know about you, but this year seems to already be off to a fast start! I’m just now getting back to schedule due to fact that the flu decided to visit our home during the holidays. That also means my family has spent many hours streaming Netflix. Every time I checked on the kids one of them was always watching something new on Netflix! To be honest I’m really considering ditching our dish service or at least downgrading it because it doesn’t seem like anyone in the house is watching regular TV enough to make the bill worth it anymore! I personally finally watched orange is the new black! OMG now I see what all the hype was! I couldn’t stop watching until I finished it all! Currently, I am waiting for season 3!! I am now hooked like everyone else. So thank you to everyone who kept telling me to check it out!
We also enjoyed many of the top picks I shared with you last month in my StreamTeam post. We especially loved All Hail King Julien and already waiting for more episodes to come out! This month’s StreamTeam theme is pets! This fits perfect for our family since Marley will be celebrating his 5th birthday January 27th! Marley has brought so much joy to our lives, and I really don’t see life without him now! As many of you know I have NEVER been a dog lover and preferred cats, but Marley has changed that over the years even though he still sometimes tries my patience just as much as the kids do!
Let’s face it the only thing that can make a great movie or TV series even better is a four-legged star. Celebrating pets this month; Netflix pulled together a few of our favorite dogs, cats, and monkeys that hit the big screen. Aside from upping the cute factor, these loyal companions can deliver important lessons on courage, protection, and love. This includes the world’s greatest feline fighter, whose swashbuckling adventure-comedy series, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, that comes to Netflix tomorrow Jan. 16th.
Puss in Boots embarks on incredible new adventures in his unforgettably singular style in DreamWorks Animation’s with an all-new Netflix original TV series. The first five 22-minute episodes will be available to Netflix members in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, UK, Ireland, the Nordics, Benelux and France to watch instantly beginning Friday.
