I did use the blow dryer as recommend to dry the nails for maximum chip resistance. Since Piggy Paint™ is water-based and does not contain harsh chemicals, it takes approximately 4 to 6 hours for ultimate hardness to be reached. The blow dryer just speeds up this process. And we were done and 2 very happy girls! I also would like to add that it stays on a pretty long time and don’t fade or wear off like the other brands that they have used in the past which is another big plus!
