Every year, offices, churches, friends, and even families like to do a “fun” secret Santa gift exchange. For some, these can be fun. For others, though, the stress of a secret Santa gift is not something they want on top of normal holiday stress. It’s a seasonal gift that they can use for years to come, and you can get away with a nice ornament for $10 or less!

Does your giftee like to write? A nice journal and pen, with a lovely inscription on the inside, can be a fabulous gift for under $20. Package it with some tea and a tea cup and you have a gift that has lots of personality and charm.
Stocking full of fun
Get a $1 stocking from the Dollar Tree and fill it with candy, hot chocolate, a deck of cards, dominoes, crossword puzzles, Sodoku book, a puzzle, coloring books and crayons- whatever will fit your gift recipient’s tastes. Making a stocking of fun is one way to spread cheer this holiday season and something they can use throughout the coming year to entertain themselves when they’re bored at work, school, or home.
