I recently participated in Mom Central’s campaign with the Corn Refiners Association, I was challenged to search my cabinets and pantries, to find what we had that contains sugar. I admit wasn’t as shocked as some. I have recently started trying to cut out sugars from our diets so I have started reading labels a lot more.
Recently, I know we have seen the big debate over high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). I don’t agree or disagree on this subject. However, I will say everything is bad for us if you listen to the news and so call experts. I agree we should be limiting our intakes and that includes EVERYTHING except for fresh vegetables because even fruit has natural sugar in it. I feel this is a personal decision. I want my family to be healthy so we watch anything that contains sugar and limit the ones that do.
You might even be shocked by the results in your on your sugar intake! You can check out http://www.sugarstacks.com/ to get an idea of what foods to look for.
