As many of you know no matter what we do to try to entertain our kids during the summer we often still hear “Mom I am bored”! I know I heard that at least 4 times a day! That is why I was so happy to see that Comcast offers its Xfinity TV customers; like myself a number of innovative ways to keep our children entertained with their on-demand products. With so many family friendly options to choose from, there is something for everyone! The best part is my kids are also able to watch on the go on their iPhones and iPads!! Customers are able to use the Xfinity TV Player App on either Apple and Android smartphones or tablets.
I love the fact that Comcast’s On Demand catalog now offers over 1,000 downloadable kid-friendly choices that come free with my Xfinity Digital TV and Streampix subscriptions. This allows me to download the shows so we don’t need Internet connection to view this content after downloaded! This has been a lifesaver for those long car trips and visits to our family’s house that don’t have internet or cable!!! It’s also came in handy when my niece is over! She wants to watch Dora the Explorer, NON STOP; however the older kids hate it and refuse to let her watch it on their TV! So now I am able to let her watch what she wants on my iPad and make everyone happy!
I have to admit I also catch myself and husband watching cartoons a little more than we should lately! My favorites are of course the ones we grew up watching like Woody Woodpecker, Heathcliff, and of course Scooby-Doo! Like I said there is something for everyone!
