Have you ever tried finding and tracking coupons online? Well, if you haven’t, let me tell you, when done right, that can be fun! A coupon won’t save you a fortune, but when you work out an effective couponing strategy, this can turn into a solid money saving tactic.
Here’s a nice free tool to be added to your arsenal: Buxr.com – a social media community for bargain hunters. It’s totally free and easy to join. There are a few reasons I prefer it over other coupon codes sites:
- All deals are real and useful (because real people share them);
- It’s spam-free (every submission should be approved by the moderator before it goes live);
- The community over there is really friendly (try asking anything at their forums!).

Here’s how I use the site:
- I have a few favorite stores I buy from on a regular basis, so I just go ahead and search for the store name on Buxr;
- They have a great database of stores and for each store they have a few sections: its freebies, deals, coupons, etc: check out newegg.com promo code section for example.
- All you have to do is to keep an eye on that section for new coupons and freebies!
Happy saving!
