It’s almost that time again! School will be out for the summer! The kids are overjoyed but if you’re a working parent, you’re trying to find Quality care and a way for children to remain engaged and active throughout the summer months.
This year my children will be staying at home, but I know many kids will need summer care. Â I never went to summer camp when I was a child I was always stuck with my Grandmother while my parents worked. Â I will admit looking back I really think I would have liked summer camp A lot more!
Kindercare has a great Summer Day Camp.  My Nieces and nephews went every year when they were smaller.  The kids really enjoyed. My sister also liked that it was very flexible with their schedule.
When looking for a camp, make sure that the program allows you to enroll for part of the summer meaning  just the times you need it. Also, if you your children are in different age groups, it helps if the program is similar for all the kids, so they can share their experiences with the whole family.
KinderCare is great because it’s a 12-week program. But, it’s split up into 1- Â 2-week lessons, so you don’t have to enroll for the whole summer. If you have a family vacation planned, or you off for part of the summer you can take those weeks off, but then return the kids when needed for other lessons. *check with your local Kindercare to make sure this is THEIR POLICLY since I am not sure its standard*
The Fun lessons are Designed by kids, created by teachers
With input from nearly 3,000 children on how they’d like to spend their summer, They have crafted a summer day-camp program that delivers just what they’re looking for: irresistible learning opportunities, hands-on involvement and unique experiences. With fun field trips and activities, KinderCare Summer Camps works to excite children to continue to learn and discover beyond the classroom and also make new friends!
