
Now that it’s summer, my c-section is healed, and my baby is three months old; I have decided it is time to lose this baby weight. I want to have a body I would be proud to flaunt at the beach. However, with how hot and humid it has been, I’m not so sure if I want to do my entire workout outside. So, I have decided maybe I can get a piece of exercise equipment for in the house.
One piece of exercise equipment I have been looking at are exercise bikes. They don’t take up a lot of room, which is definitely a plus. Also, they aren’t too loud so I could use it after the kids are in bed. I don’t want anything too complicated, so it would definitely be a good fit for me. Most that I have looked at are reasonably priced as well.
Aside from the traditional exercise bike, I have also looked at a recumbent exercise bike. They are pretty different looking, but they have very high reviews. There are some that are similar to a rower. Most of them are fully programmable, which is a huge plus for me. The mister may have an interest in using it, so if we could save our settings for each of us that would save a lot of time and energy on having to remember our settings to re-enter them each time.
While I think an exercise would be a great purchase, I have also considered treadmills. They may take up more space, but they are great for cardio. I just don’t see myself going outside in this heat and running. The only way that would happen is if I broke down and got up at 5am just to go run, which just isn’t going to happen.
