IXL.com is a great way to make math fun!
As many of you know my daughter Jasmine has always struggled in math. We have tried everything over the years but she just wasn’t getting it. However, she gets her progress report today and she is has an 89 in math!! Talk about proud parents. I was so happy that I actually shed a tear. As a parent, I felt so bad seeing her struggle year after year. I also felt that teachers were not giving her the help she needed. This year we are so blessed that we have a math teacher that understands and gets it! He was my son’s math teacher last year and Dre loved him. However, math has always his strong subject. So I really didn’t know how this was going to go with Jasmine. However, I am proud to say I couldn’t have asked for a better math teacher for her. I noticed Jasmine coming home excited about her math class, talk about shocker! After looking at her grades online I noticed she was passing, with almost all A’s! I decided that as a parent I should take this time to send her teacher a thank you email. I couldn’t express enough how much we appreciate him. I am sure he was shocked that he got an email praising him. Because, like most parents I don’t really take the time like I should just to send those “I appreciate you emails” out of the blue. He replied back thanking me for the nice words. He also shared with me a site that they work on at school called IXL.com. He told me that he would be sending her log in info home soon, so she could do it at home also for extra help.
I decided to check out the site. I was very impressed. So impressed, that I contacted the company to see if I could do a review for them on my site. It’s not only for schools but for home use! I wanted to check it out hands on. Plus, I liked the fact that I could get the other kids doing the same thing. We love education websites. However, all sites are not created equally. When the kids got home I told Jasmine that her teacher told me about the IXL.COM. She was super excited that I went ahead and scored a review for 1 year service. I set each child up their very own account. They were all excited to play. With over 2,000 skills spanning pre-kindergarten to geometry, and an unlimited number of computer-generated problems, the kids always have something new and exciting to practice on. The site is really fun and the kids love it! They remind me every day that they need to get on there. So far they try to spend 30 minutes each night practicing.

Do we recommend getting a Membership?
YES! Even if your child is not struggling in math this is a great site to help them exceed! I really wish I knew about this site sooner. When All 3 of the kids, love it that tells me something. For only $79 per year or $9.99 per month you can’t go wrong! After our one year is up I will be purchasing another year. That’s how much I stand behind this program!

I Hate my Samsung Galaxy!
I am sure by now many of you know that I ditched my beloved Iphone last year for the new Samsung Galaxy! My son told us it was the best phone on the market! I mean he watched tons of YouTube videos and read all the reviews, so we trusted him! Plus it seemed like everyone online loved them. So the whole family got one! Yes, you read it right! All of us decided to ditch Iphone and become android users! I admit at first the phone was great! We all loved it. Then a few months of use, we all hated it! It has been issue after issue! I would understand if one out of the four phones had issues, but people all 4 of them are having the same issues!! And of course now we are out of the one year warranty period. To make matters even worse we are stuck with these stupid phones till we it’s time to upgrade again, unless of course we pay retail! I refuse to pay retail for any phone let alone four! I have had a lot of phones in my life time and never had so many issues with a phone ever! This thing freezes all the time! The battery life SUCKS, and half the time it won’t even call out!
I would really love to Sell My Mobile to at least get some money to go on a new phone. However, I would feel really bad selling this piece of junk to anyone! I have found many sites that allow you to sell your old phones. I found a site called sellmymobile.com . They compare prices on all leading phone recyclers helping customers to get the most money back for their old, new or even broken mobile phones. When I seen Broken, I decided to give it a try. Haha, even on there I wouldn’t make enough for this stupid phone to even worry about it! My Old Iphones would bring in more than this junk!
So now I am looking for 4 used Iphone4s. If anyone is selling them when the new iphone5 comes out please let me know!! If you have a Samsung Galaxy are you having any issues? I’d love to hear from you!
