IHOP, world renowned for their signature buttermilk pancakes, has just set a goal to raise $1.75 million for Children’s Miracle Network and other local charities during its celebration of National Pancake Day on February 23, 2010. This ambitious goal will raise a cumulative $5 million in the first five years of IHOP’s National Pancake Day program. From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., IHOP restaurants nationwide will offer their guests a free short stack (3) of IHOP’s signature buttermilk pancakes, and in return, ask guests to donate what they would have paid for the pancakes, or more, to CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK their local children’s hospital or another designated local charity.
2009, IHOP gave away three million pancakes and raised nearly $1.5 million in support of Children’s Miracle Network and other local charities, far exceeding its goal to raise $1 million. Since starting its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has given away more than 6.1 million free pancakes to benefit children’s charities –- that stacks up more than 53.5 miles high!
2010 will mark IHOP’s fifth year celebrating the national event and the company has set an ambitious goal to raise a cumulative $5 million for charity in the first five years of its free flapjack philanthropic effort.

During Christmas Break I received Dazzle Dry quick Dry nail polish System to review. I have been using the system since I received it but never seemed to get the actual review up in till now!
I was sent dazzle Dry 3 Piece Nail System and a Red Dazzle Dry nail lacquer that is used by professionals but now available for use at home. This unique non-yellowing Vegan formula is free of the toxic 3 ingredients (Formaldehyde, Toluene and Phthalate), nitrocellulose and camphor.
Manicures/Pedicures air-dry completely in 5-10 minutes when used as directed with Dazzle Dry nail lacquers which can be purchased separately. The system can be used with other nail polish brands. Dazzle Dry will shorten the drying time of these other brands but will not provide the 5-10 minute dry time which is only achievable when Dazzle Dry nail lacquers are used.
I was amazed how great my nails looked. I admit I usually get mine done by the professionals because this is not my specialty so seeing the results I know that I can achieve that look when I am in a rush and can’t make it to the salon. Â I find myself doing my nails now while I am slow at work LOL and since it dries so quick I haven’t messed up!

Hair removal creams are a quick and easy way to remove unwanted hair, but I will only use it on my legs. Â I hate putting anything on my face because my skin is so sensitive, so my facial hair removal method is now threading.
If you haven’t heard is an ancient method of hair removal which originated in parts of India, the Middle and Far East, and is now gaining popularity in Western countries. I saw it on TV one day and really wanted to try it but I never seen it here, THEN one day at the mall RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE was a booth! I ask a lot of questions still not sure if that day was the day for me, but the young lady was not going to have it any other way.  she even went half price just so I would do it. I guess she knew I would be a customer for life if she could just get me in that seat for the first time. LOL!
Threading is a hair removal technique that uses 100% cotton thread. The cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hairs in the thread, which are then lifted quickly from the follicle. It is more precise than waxing and allows for better lines and cost about the same as hair removal wax strips.
Eyebrow threading is a preferred hair removal technique for a number of reasons. Unlike tweezing or plucking, eyebrow threading removes one clean line of hair all at once, making it much quicker and easier to shape the brows. The Pain was not as bad as I thought when she was doing my eyebrows but omg did my eyes water!  I will admit I did have more pain when she was doing my upper lip which burned a little. The Results are amazing and she shapes the brows according to your face shape so it looks perfect! I also love how long the results actually last longer than it did when I was getting them waxed.
I urge everyone to least try it one time! I also want to add if you do decide to take the plunge make sure you go to someone who actually knows what they are doing and don’t try this at home by yourself!! Threading can result in skin irritation and ingrown hairs if not done right.  If done correctly, the skin should not be red or irritated for more than a few minutes after the eyebrow threading session.
