Yay this is the last week of school here! So you know what that means!  My kids will be spending a lot of time outdoors swimming, playing and of course sports! However that means they are also at risk for Injuries. It never fails someone always gets hurt or a sprain during summer break around here.  Luckily the nice folks at Boiron sent me some Arnicare Gel to help with pain when the time comes!

I also loved that it was truly unscented. I don’t know about you but I hate using gels or creams that have that strong medicine smell.

We haven’t had a chance to use it personally, However when my mother was here on Mother’s Day she seen it and had to try it!  She suffers from serve muscle aches and stiffness so she wanted to test it out right then! She loved it! She swears by this stuff so that says a lot.  She called me that Monday to tell me she went to our local NUTRITION DEPOT and got her own tube.   She loved the fact that it didn’t interact with her other medicines.

As many of you know I moved into my new house last weekend.  I am happy to say that we are 95% unpacked and settled in! I think packing was the worst part of the move. I didn’t know we had so much stuff! It’s safe to say we got rid of a lot!  However, that also meant that we needed to do some shopping and redecorating. Thankfully for me I was recently sent a $50 Anna’s Linens gift card to shop at my local store and post about the great deals I was able to find.  I have always loved Anna’s Linens so this gift card really came in handy.

If you haven’t heard about Anna’s Linens or been able to go into one you are missing out!  With 300 stores in the United States they focus on high quality bedding, window coverings, bath accessories and other home decor items including decorative pillows, housewares, area rugs and much more! – all at great low prices!  I had always seen the commercials and sales papers but never really thought anything about going in till my lovely mother in law started saying she wanted to go.  So of course we went and I have been a repeat customer since.

My local store is always very clean and organized, plus the staff is always so nice and helpful. I never have to go find someone to help me! There is always someone right there when needed.  I also like that they have something for everyone’s style especially with my bunch. When we arrived at the store the girls both spotted out the zebra’ bath stuff. (As you know Jasmine is in the zebra faze and now it seems like Jada is following.) I loved how they paired the zebra print with the green color. The girls had already decided to do their bathroom in Zebra so this was perfect, however we had already placed an order online for almost the same exact set, EXCEPT WE PAID MORE! ( I might return it and come back and pick the items up at Anna’s)

I also fell in love with the “owls” and “monkeys”! Isn’t this just the cutest thing ever?

I also needed to pick up a new pair of sheers for Jada’s room.  As you can tell below they had many colors and they were only $ 7.99! The girls also spotted out the zebra curtains, bedding and pillows!

 

However my main focus for this trip was to get some well needed towels and wash clothes.   I don’t know about you but I hate towels that are thin and short! Thankfully Anna’s has towels that are thick, long and the best part fit my budget! So I grabbed 10 sets, a new knife set, 2 rugs, 1 sheer and 2 curtain rods and my total was under $200! Talk about a deal!  Don’t think that paying more means better quality!  I have always been very happy with my purchases and trust me I am very picky. I plan on going back this weekend to get my bedroom and bath room stuff now that our new bedroom suit is here.  Thanks to Anna’s I am able to decorate our new home the way I want it without breaking my newly tight budget!

As many of you know I now officially have 2 teenagers in the house! So when we were sent Clearasil’s new On-The-Go Rapid Action Wipes and Daily Gel Wash to test out through my partnership with Mom Central, we were very excited. 

Lately I have noticed both of the kids breaking out more. I admit I love to shop! I mean what woman don’t? I also love to share all my great deals with my family and friends. Let’s face it some of us moms are born  with natural talent when it comes to shopping and finding great deals for our family. My family is always calling me to ask if something is a good deal or not.

With Social media there is always new ways to share with the world anything you want! Whether a hot new electronic, new games  for the kids, or something for a home project that you seen on pinterest, sharing the great products we find proves a strong passion  for us bloggers. We use social media everyday!  Then of course we always have our smart phones on us at all times! So we are always looking for apps to make our job easier.

I recently heard about The Finds mobile app, that is available in the iTunes App Store,  it allows savvy shoppers to share recent purchases as well as determine where other shoppers find great products. Available for free for iPhone users with the iOS6 software, the Finds app allows you to post original photos of items you’ve purchased. The app then automatically links to where the product can be bought online.

The Finds mobile app is perfect for people who love to share their “finds.”  I will admit when I put the app on my phone I was a little confused. I actually have a similar app that even has a similar name that I have been using. So it was a learning experience to say the least.  After using it more I found that it was rather simple to use.  I don’t know how long this app has been out but I wasn’t able to find many “friends” that have this app so maybe as it grows it will get better.  However I hate to admit it but I don’t see me using it much unless that changes.  I also noticed that it crashes way more then I like. Hopefully they will fix that since I am always able to send a report.

Over all I think this app has some great potential, so go ahead and give it a try and make sure to follow me!  Also the best part is Finds is giving away a $100 Visa Debit Card every week to one lucky user. I know for some it’s hard to believe that spring is in the air!  However March 20^th is officially the first day of SPRING! March 20^th is also a very special day because it’s also Jasmine’s Birthday! She will be officially a teenager this year!  The start of spring also means the dreaded spring cleaning!  I am happy to say that we have already got started doing our yearly routines.  I will be leaving to go out of town this week so I decided that we should start our spring cleaning early!  I am also reviewing the new   BISSELL CleanView Vacuum.  So what better time to put a vacuum to the test then during spring cleaning!

I am sure over the years you have seen my many reviews of vacuum cleaners. I am also sure that y’all thought I was joking when I said that we wear vacuum cleaners out!   This house is vacuumed daily sometime twice! I hate to see anything on my floors, especially Marley’s dog hair!!  So when we get a chance to review a new vacuum cleaner, everyone in the house is happy!  When our new BISSELL CleanView Vacuum arrived, I was shocked nobody was fighting over who was going to put it together and who was going test it out first!  So we didn’t open it till this weekend.  So far only Jasmine and I have tested it. We both love it!  I was amazed how much “dirt” it picked up RIGHT after using our high priced vacuum cleaner!

The Set up was quick and easy! However I will be honest when we got it put together I was worried about the size. It’s a little bigger than the vacuums we are using now.  So I was not sure if pushing was going to be a chore.  I am pleased to say it’s actually very light for its size. It also picks up incredibly well and isn’t as loud as my others.  I have to say the suction is perfect for my needs. I had tried another brand here while back and the suction was so strong it was pulling my carpet and so hard to push! So this made me very happy! BISSELL’s CleanView Vacuum with OnePass Technology actually speeds up the monotonous chore of vacuuming so now we are able to spend more time doing things the things we love and spend less time vacuuming.

The Bottom Easy Empty dirt tank and a washable foam filter make maintenance simple.  I would never go back to the vacuums that require bags again so this was perfect!  I also love the attachments, especially when cleaning the stairs and furniture.  The attachments were a 4” TurboBrush^® tool for cleaning stairs, upholstery and hard-to-reach places, a 10” crevice tool for nooks, crannies and corners and an upholstery tool and 11” extension wand for added convenience

The best part the price is for this machine is only $75!
