Access Your Movies With New Disc-to-Digital Service (Giveaway)

Parents let’s face it, I  am sure you and your children, have many favorite movies, maybe even some you all can’t live without?  I know when my daughter was smaller we had to take our Dora dvd’s everywhere we went! Now there is actually a more simple way to do just that!  With Disc-to-Digital, this service will turn your physical movie library into digital movies! This new program lets you watch your favorite movies on any internet-connected device, including your laptop, Smartphone, tablet or gaming console- wherever you are!

I was recently invited to try out the new service that was released earlier this month from Walmart.  Like most families we have tons of DVDs that we have collected over the years.  Which I admit hardly ever get watched anymore since we are always on the go! Now I can bring back our family favorites so we can actually watch them on the go!  

For just $2 per disc, Walmart will convert a standard DVD or Blu-ray movie to a digital copy. You can also upgrade a standard DVD to an HD digital copy for $5. This is perfect for family vacations, whether you’re stuck at the airport, train station or in-laws’ house, this is a great way to keep you and your kids entertained with the movies you can’t live without.

The Disc-to-Digital Service is easy and takes just three easy steps:

  1. Gather the DVDs and Blu-ray movies you can’t live without from your home collection & head to your local Walmart store. The list of eligible movies is available on www.vudu.com. Six major studios are participating with more than 4000 titles as of now – with the list growing each week!
  2. Bring your discs to the photo department where an Associate will add the movies to your account on www.vudu.com (the process only takes a few minutes and the Associate can help you set up a vudu account if you don’t already have one!)
  3. Enjoy your favorite movies by accessing them on more than 300 internet-connected devices, like your phone, tablet or laptop!

 

The whole process was very simple. I do suggest that you go ahead and set your account up yourself to save time. I will be using this service a lot. It’s very convenient and I love that it allows me to have something for the kids to watch anytime and anywhere!
