The Lucky Winner was Benny!! Congrats!!

The busy Holiday season is here!! The countdown is on and if you’re like me, you’re rushing to beat the deadline! Everyone loves Christmas, but the biggest complaint I hear is, “It gets so hectic.” It’s still the favorite season for most of us, but we do get tired. We still have to make a living; we still have to maintain our daily lives and then we add shopping for gifts, wrapping the gifts, decorating, entertaining or attending parties and possibly baking. It’s fun and festive, but we get tired. Then there is the financial and budgeting. With everything going on it is sometimes hard to stay on budget or on top of spending! Luckily I am a Bank of America Customer and with my Iphone and Ipad that goes everywhere with me I am update with all my Transactions and banking needs at all times!
Bank of America has many a lot of special features that help even the busiest mom’s keep track. Just take a look at the ones that I love the most!
- Bank on the go: It’s easy to set up mobile banking and secure access to your money wherever you are. Download the mobile banking app and you can check balances, transfer money, pay bills, and locate ATMs. Sign up for text banking and you’ll be able to send a text message to get your balance instantly in a reply.
- Make quick and easy deposits: Holiday means a lot of extra work, so eliminate the labor of depositing checks. With Bank of America’s Deposit Image ATMs, you simply feed checks or cash into the ATM with no envelopes or deposit slips required. You get images of your checks and a list of cash deposited on your receipt as proof. TALK ABOUT A BIG TIME SAVER!!
- Save a trip to the bank: Don’t worry about making an extra stop to the bank during all of your holiday shopping. Keep track of your spending by using Bank of America’s online banking: set up alerts, check balances, and transfer money!
With all the new technology banking has never been easier! To learn more about solutions that can help you this Busy Holiday season and any other time make sure you check out STOP BEFORE YOU HEAD OFF KEEP READING!!

One time saving tip is to do a Secret Santa gift exchange with your family instead of shopping for a gift for EVERY family member.
I get back time by shopping online!
We do as much of our shopping on line as we can during the week before heading out to do shopping at the mall. Some things we buy on line, but alot of the time we are “window” shopping on line, then we know what items we want to check out or buy when we go to the mall. Saves time.

I save time by doing most of my shopping online. It saves time, gas, and the aggravation of getting to the mall. Amazon matched prices on Black Friday, which was a bonus.
I save time by ordering gifts online and paying extra to have them gift wrapped for me.
Organize a wrapping party with your friends. I puts you in the holiday spirit, and everyone gets all of their package wrapped in one day.

Save time by going by yourself. No fuss from kids or family
If you are very busy and don’t have time to wrap presents, using gift bags are an option. I stocked up on gift bags last year during the after Christmas sales.
I save time by making really organized lists of what I need to buy and get accomplished.
Tip: Take advantage of the early and late hours of the stores and shop when there’s less crowds.
I try to do a lot of shopping online. That way I’m not driving all over, wasting a whole day trying to find the perfect gift!

Tip; plan out what you are going to buy a few weeks ahead
I save time by sending ecards instead of paper cards via snail mail. It saves paper, the cost of mailing, and the time of filling out cards and going to the post office.
Another time saving tip is to do a Secret Santa gift exchange instead of buying for everyone.
I try to shop where they offer free gift wrapping.

He better be kidding!
My suggestion is to shop on the weekdays, not weekends, if possible. The weekends its much more busy at the mall, with longer lines, plus the extra time to find a parking space.

During the holidays or busy times, I have to cut corners somewhere, so we do eat more takeout food. I try to vary it by getting Chinese, Italian, chicken, something different each time, as much as I can. I get back time by keeping things simple. I purchase gifts on sale all year. When there is a party at my house it is a potluck. Decorations are sentimental items that have been around a long time. I take time to make sure pets in the house don’t feel left out.

Maybe its cheating, but I save up all 3 of my vacation days for the whole year and take off the first 3 fridays in December. You have no idea how handy it is to have three 3-day weekends in a row!
I divide up family giftgiving with my sister.
Instead of wearing myself out by making several trips out to shop for gifts alone, I’ll corral my dh for one day for about 8 hours and we “power-shop”, but with a well thought out list of course! We stop for a nice lunch together, and at the end of the day, go and buy our Christmas tree. Of course we are “empty nesters,” could never have done this when our kids were little!

I plan my trips out, and jobs that need getting done. With enough planning there are no days where you have to feel overwhelmed.
I save time by doing all my Christmas baking the same time I do my Thanksgiving baking. It all goes in the freezer to be thawed out or cooked for on Christmas Eve. It saves not only money but uber amounts of time. Plus, there’s always a little cookie dough left over for those ‘just because I want a one’ moments.
My best time savers are shopping during the year and putting items away in a special spot, and to order as much as possible online during my free time. The last 3 years I’ve spent very little time shopping in the stores during the Christmas season. Thanks.

I’m bad at this… at Christmas time, I do more than any other time of the year, but I love it. I love giving, sharing… it doesn’t bother me.

I get up early, go to the basement (my office), and go online while the house is still.
I make my lists and do online comparison shopping during my free time at work. Then when I come home all I have to do is place the orders. I save both time and money by doing errands on the way to and from the job.
One of the best ways I get back time is by shopping online! <3
Oh, and the things I did for extra entries were:

Every year without fail we take the kids shopping to pick out something for Toys 4 Tots or the Salvation Army donation.

Many cookies can be frozen either raw or baked. Mix and/or bake ahead of time to free up time closer to the big days. Cookies thaw quickly.

I get back time over the holidays because we decided no gifts for adults. Each family takes the money that they would have spent on other adults and makes a charitable donation. Everyone feels so much better and they don’t have a closet full of stuff that they don’t need.
I get back time by asking what the kids want and making half of the gifts GCs. Then we can spend time after Christmas getting what they wanted and there’s no returns.
I get back time, just by taking it back. working part time and being a full time wife and mom calls for it.

I get back time during the busy holiday season by cutting back on sleep
I keep an eye out for Christmas presents all year long, that way there is no last minute rushing, I get better prices and I don’t spend all at once.
I do it by ordering gifts online and avoiding the stores.
shop online ty
I save time all year round by multitasking. I’m never still except when I’m sleeping.
I do most of my shopping online. that saves a of time!

Another time saving tip would be to start packing for holiday travels at least a week in advance, and recruit the help of the kids to choose and prepare some of their own snacks and activities to save time. I also try to print all documents, boarding passes, maps, etc., ahead of time, and make lists to organize my thinking. Thanks!
I usually start early and spread things out as much as possible so its just doing a little bit each day. Yes, I love to give cookies and instead of baking in a marathon – a little bit a day – freeze so they stay fresh and then when all done – compile the gifts and distribute! Happy Holidays and best of luck to everyone!

I start earlier and earlier every year…shopping, wrapping and even baking. I can then spend the holidays enjoying myself. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win.
I get back time by comparison shopping online before going out to the malls. I always shop for groceries when stoes are least busy.
I get back time by multitasking. Wrapping gifts and ordering more gifts online at the same time, for example!
I do much of my shopping on clearance sales way before the hollidays, which allows me to focus more love and attention on family. Additionally, I have slimmed down the effort that I put into the Christmas feast by using easy but elegant recipes, and fewer “dishes.”
I get back time by doing most of my shopping online and by letting the kids sleep in but I continue to wake up early over the holiday break to make the most of my time.

Thanks for the giveaway…we plan our holiday shopping excursions like military campaigns to maximize our time i.e. grocery shopping very early in the morning; trips to the mall early in the season; online shopping as much as we can…

I try to do some extra things while the girls are asleep. I may be a little more tired the next day but atleast I’m accomplishing something. lol Thank you!
I shop for wrapping paper, cards, tags, ribbon, etc. in mid-November when the selection is best and there are less crowds. I buy all presents by the end of November to avoid big crowds and have a wider selection to choose from.
I get back time by shopping online first for deals instead of going from store to store to compare. Thanks!

I get back time by prioritizing my time to do things I actually like. I skip certain parties because they aren’t my scene (too much drinking involved or don’t really know anyone there).
i go through my pantry and donate a lot of food to our local food shelf because i use coupons and buy way more than we need

I get back time by taking the packages that I want to send USPS to Office Depot! They charge the same rates but NO LINES! Plus the parking lot isn’t packed so I save even more time. Bonus? Sometimes I have Office Depot coupons and save even more!

I get back time during the holiday season by preparing a weeks worth of meals on Sunday. That way all I need to do is defrost and bake and Voila!
We purchase gifts for children on the Angel tree.
I’m finding some extra time this holiday season by inviting friends over to help with baking. It lets me combine visting with friends and making holiday goodies, and it’s always more fun to bake with friends!
I shop online – no driving to the store!
I don’t need to get back time. I do everything in smaller portions, prep work, until it all comes together.
I get time back by setting aside one full day for wrapping gifts. That way, I only have to get out (and put away) the wrapping supplies ONE time. Also, while I’m wrapping, it gives me “time” to watch a bunch of Christmas movies that I would otherwise have to lose sleep to watch! It works out wonderfully for me!
I plan my shopping to minimize the number of shopping trips
We get time back by shopping during off hours and making lists so we don’t backtrack.
My tip is to buy everyone Gift Cards and save yourself the hassel
I use the internet a lot and not just for shopping, but for checking ads, looking up addresses, product reviews, etc. Saves a lot of running around.
I get some time back by sitting down with a good book and a cup of coffee. Well, when I have time that is. 😉

I save time by getting most of my gifts online and sent. I only have to get a few things here and there then. That saves me a lot of time and I don’t have to fight the crowds at the shopping centers.
I make sure to shop all year around
