Custard and Jelly- Guardian Angels (Review& Giveaway)

This is a must have for any boy or girl.  I usually don’t put a big endorsement on something but this is one product I am happy to promote and endorse.  These Angels are not just getting my seal of approval either! Just awarded Top Toy of 2011 (soft toy category) by Creative Child Magazine and special mention by Time.com as ‘one of the 15 smartest toys for young geniuses of 2011.

I have done a lot of reviews over the years and been able to receive some awesome products. However, Today I think this has to be one of the best items that I have received. This item and the story behind it is when that gives you that “warm ,feel good” feeling.    When I read the story about how a little 8 year old girl came up with the idea it touched me so much.   These Adorably diverse guardian angel plush dolls, was designed by a little girl named, Ally.  She drew the pictures up because her mom told her guardian angel was her grandfather.  Ally thought about all the other little boys and girls and wanted to make sure everyone had a guardian angel.  The more I read about Ally I am in love.  She is a very bright and talented little girl with a big heart.   Now at the age of 11, she also has her own blog Diary of a kid entrepreneur.

Each of the 7 guardian angels is only $14.99 and has a unique emotional strength and pledge to watch over their young owner. When a child receives an angel, they or their parents register their angel on the Custard ‘n Jelly website. There, the child can choose one of 3 children’s charities where a donation will be made on their behalf.

I was able to pick and receive one of this angel’s to help with my review.   I decided that I would get “Cami” for Jada after reading her information.

Cami has a Guardian Level: 5. Her Training is Making Friends and her special skill is replacing nightmares with Sweet Dreams. She earned her Wing status by teaching that life is most precious when we share it with friends.

This was a perfect fit for princess Jada.  Jada is only 6 but truly a people person and she makes friends everywhere. However, lately she has been waking up with nightmares.  This just started the past few months.  It’s not the normal scary nightmares either.  She really feels that her great grandmother is always in her room.  She can actually describe this woman to the T!  But wait, she never met  or seen her! I wasn’t even pregnant with Jada when she passed.

The day the doll arrived I was so happy to give it to her.  Cami had the tag on her to describe her skills and what she is meant to do.  After we talked about it Jada was all smiles.   We have had this doll a week now and she sleeps with it every night and is always somewhere close during the day.  I don’t know what it was but Jada is now sleeping in her room.  I really think it had to do with the message.  I have decided that I will be placing an order ordering Ally,Lexi and Katie for her for Christmas.
