  26. I am one of the lucky ones who gets to stay home this holiday; we have family coming to visit us.

  42. We are staying home this Christmas and will be traveling to visit my in-laws in January when things are less hectic.

  99. I will be traveling across country to visit my family…I will finally get to see them around 8 at night on Dec. 24th!!

  104. We will just be taking one day during Christmastime to visit my parents. After the Christmas season is over, we are heading down to Kissimmee for vacation.

  163. Thank you for the giveaway! After years of bad airport troubles visiting family, my husband and I are just staying home and relaxing. We have tickets booked for Vermont in January, a little after holiday visit is just what we need instead of 8 hours in the airport!

  164. I actually get to stay home this year! Normally my husband and I have to travel from the West Coast to the East Coast on both holidays, because all of our family lives in the east. However this year we’re just going to take it easy.

  262. I will travel half a block on Christmas eve morning to see Ken’s extended family with a wonderful family & faith filled brunch and gift exchange then we come home and do our own thing.
    It is the best of all worlds- we see our loved ones and still enjoy the comforts of home without having to be the hosts. 😉

  269. I travel first to my brothers on Christmas Eve, and then to my in-laws on Christmas Day. Less than an hour travel time, so its not too bad.

  335. We are staying home, but that’s really misleading We’re going to look at Disney hotels one day, going to Epcot for the Candlelight Processional one day, going ice skating one day, going to Sea World one day. See what I mean? Yikes!

  346. My family is all local and my husbands family is in Wyoming so we stay home for the winter Holidays because it is to dangerous to travel to Wyoming in the winter!

    I like that our baby will have Christmas at home, I think it is important.

  348. We go to my parents’, which isn’t that far (1 hour) but far enough that we have to keep a sharp, nervous eye on the weather. “White Christmas” is NOT what we want!

  358. I am definitely staying home. I am super, super broke and will not be celebrating Christmas. I also grew up with my mom crying on Christmas. She hated it. We never got a tree. And the stockings tacked to the wall was always empty!

  359. We are 12 hours away from our family. We won’t be going anywhere. We will have a couple of men from my husband’s job over who are also away from their family. The kids like having lots of people in the house and we all know what it feels like to be separated from family.
