Lipton Iced Tea has recently launched a new line of beverages; 100% Natural Lipton Iced Tea. This new line of tea has all natural ingredients and comes in four delicious flavors: Traditional favorites, Iced Tea with Lemon and Green Tea with Citrus, as well as two tasty new flavors including Green Tea with Passion Fruit Mango and Iced Tea with Blueberry Pomegranate. These new flavors began showing up in stores last month and let me be the first to tell you that they are delicious and perfect for the hot summer days ahead; me and my kids love them!
The stylish and curvy bottle immediately grabs your attention, but it is the rich and flavorful aroma that really pulls you in as soon as you open the bottle. My favorite is the new Iced Tea with blueberry pomegranate; it is so smooth and tasty, and it combines a perfect mix of fruit flavor and tea flavor without either dominating the drink. This is not the case with some teas where you either can’t taste the flavored ingredient, or it tastes like a fruit drink only with no tea. This is not the case with these drinks. You truly get the best of both worlds. I couldn’t stop drinking them. My kids still enjoy the classic Iced Tea with Lemon. They said it tasted the sweetest of the different flavors without the lemon flavor dominating the drink. My daughter said it tasted like a perfect combination of lemon and “sweet tea”. This is what I liked most about these new beverages; the perfect blend of the multiple flavors in each drink that allowed you to get the full taste of both. It is not always what you get with other teas. We really enjoyed all 4 flavors, but these were our favorites. There is no pronounced aftertaste and the drink goes down smooth as can be.
The all natural ingredients include Tea (water, tea extract from leaves) sugar, citric acid, natural flavor, Reb A (purified stevia effect). Each bottle has 130 calories, 120 mg sodium, and 33g sugar.
Lipton has also partnered up with Pandora.com to celebrate the line of drinks and treat listeners to a summer experience that will allow them to enjoy music “the natural way”. “The Natural Side of Music” will include a surprise summer kick off concert with a major unannounced recording artists, a host of online videos featuring plenty of interviews & extras with music artists. The best one is the peach iced tea in the heat of the summer!
Try this: 1 cup water, 1 tea bag, 1/4 can peach syrup, a slice of lemon, a lil bit sugar. Serve over ice.
