I am very Familiar with the WEN Healthy Hair system because I sale it Daily, However I never tried it till now. I get a lot of Calls asking me does this work for women of color and it says yes, But I Never have the information that Most callers like myself want or need. I was Very Happy When the PR rep contacting me to try this product. When I got the product I decided to wash my daughter Jasmine’s hair first She has very Thick and Dry Coarse Hair. The smell is a little strong but not that bad I followed the directions …
To cleanse your hair with WEN® Cleansing Conditioner:
1. Rinse hair thoroughly and completely for 1-2 minutes.
2. Dispense the proper amount of Cleansing Conditioner into your hands & rub together.
Short hair or fine to medium textured hair:
Use a minimum of 8 pumps to the crown section, 8 pumps to the nape section and 8 pumps on the right and left ends of the hair (total 16-24 pumps depending on length).
Medium length hair or medium to thick textured hair:
Use a minimum of 8 pumps to the crown section, 8 pumps to the nape section, 8 pumps on the right ends and 8 pumps on the left ends of the hair (total 24-32 pumps depending on length).
Very long hair or very thick/coarse hair:
Use a minimum of 8 pumps to the crown section, 8 pumps to the nape section, 8 pumps on the right ends, 8 pumps on the left ends, and 8 pumps on the back ends of the hair (total 32-40 pumps depending on length).
3. Work product into the hair starting at the crown and working towards the ends, massaging vigorously. Apply a splash of water to help distribute the product evenly.
After we were done I combed her hair out and used the flat iron. I couldn’t tell a big difference from using the wen but after the 2 and 3rd time using it I have noticed her hair is not as frizzy and dry.  I would give this product 7 star out of 10. I have not decided if I will sign up for Auto ship on this product but I am glad that I understand the system more. I will admit that I could see this worker better on other types of hair then ours.

When I tried this product everything about it was a total nightmare! First I had an allergic reaction which caused SEVERE scalp itch. It was so bad that it lasted for several months AFTER I stopped using the product! FYI, I *NEVER* had that problem BEFORE using WEN. Second, the system was ordered through Guthy Renker as a gift from my boyfriend and even though he opted out of “automatic delivery” they still billed his credit card. It took about 3 months to get it straightened out. He finally received most of the money back, but they refused to refund shipping. Needless to say… I would never use WEN again OR make a purchase from Gunthy Renker!
I actually love this product. My hair was nice and smooth. It conditioned well.
One tip: when using hair coditioners it works better if your wring your hair out of any extra water before applying it – conditions better)
