  45. I would stock up on as much Cheddar Cheese as possible in order to make Welsh Rarebit, which is a thick sauce or spread made by melting cheese into beer. Rarebit makes for a good breakfast when spread on Sourdough bread.

  178. I wouldn’t have missed this event! I stocked up on Bounty paper towels, Pantene shampoo and conditioner and Betty Crocker mix and frosting.

  179. I stocked up on Muir Glen soups and sauces this weekend. They’re organic and great quality and I can only find them at Ralph’s around here (my local Kroger).

I’ve already shopped (twice) and filled up all of our freezers/fridges and pantry so- best deals- butter $2 lb and oh not really a deal(?) but found out they now carry Boudin- and since 3 of my kids were born in Louisiana for us this is BIG!   332. I save money on groceries by always looking for bargains and coupons to stock up on items, especially non-perishables and items that we can easily store or freeze for long periods. In combination with coupons from inserts, online sites, and mailers, we have chalked up quite a bit of savings!
