Many of you know that Princess Jada loves to get her hair done.  However she is super picky.  Even at just age 7 she knows what she likes and don’t like when it comes to her hair.  So most mornings, I am doing this child’s hair like she is at a beauty salon!  Those simply pony tails I used to get away with doing on my older daughter don’t fly with Jada! So we love to try new hair products.

Our Thoughts

I really loved the YouWave concept.  I also loved that it heated up in only 30 seconds and can reach temps to 400°F. However, It didn’t really do as well as I expected on our hair type.   I actually tried it on both of my daughters and my hair to see if I could get different results.  Jada’s hair turned out better compared to mine and Jasmine’s.  I saw other reviews and noticed they all had great results. So I am really thinking our results were due to the texture of our hair since it’s so thick and already naturally wavy and curly.  My friend is currently trying it and she loves it and has perfect results with it.  Jada really didn’t care for the look but I actually thought it was cute on her!  (I told you she was picky) she prefers wearing her hair straight or curly. Over all I think this is a great product for someone that wants waves.

 

Our Results

Here are a couple of pictures of the girl’s hair using the YouWave. As you can see the results was actually pretty good with Jada.  Jasmine’s hair is SUPER thick so even going over it two times didn’t do much for her. Plus her hair is naturally wavy.

Our Thoughts

We both loved the brush!  Jada’s hair tends to tangle a lot in other round brushes like this. However, with this brush we had no tangles! I loved that the brush was Retractable!  It also left her hair less frizzy especially when blowing drying.  Another great thing is HOW EASY it is to clean!  So if you like to use round brushes but tend to avoid them due to tangles make sure to check this brush out!

  16. I actually have the You Wave Ultra by Conair and it’s a must have product for me. It makes my unmanageable hair look nice in just minutes. It’s what I use when I have to clean my look up quickly.
