Summer is out and that means the kids are home! If your children are like mine they love to stay on the computer!  My oldest 2 have been spending more time on the computer then I actually like. We have decided to start limiting online time even more. I didn’t think we had a big issue till we noticed the kids were not playing or doing anything else.
If you recall I told you that I am a test drive mom for Yoursphere. Â Which is a site just for children, between the ages of 8 and 18? Kids can create their own profile, start a blog, share pictures, or meet up with friends while playing hundreds of free age-appropriate interactive games in the “Our World” section of the site. They can also discuss their interests among the sports, music, fashion, gaming, academics, performing arts and more groups. My 2 seem to want to stay on there all the time!
I feel safe they are on Yoursphere and not myspace but everything has a limit. So Now I am “Mean Mom”!  So my question is how long do you let your kids spend online per day?
Also Yoursphere is completely FREE if you want to go ahead test the site out yourself, have your kids sign up by using this code referral code: YSMC-0005 but don’t blame me when your kids get addicted lol!
I wrote this review while participating in the Yoursphere Test Drive program by Mom Central on behalf of Yoursphere. I received a free lifetime Gold membership on Yoursphere.com, Yoursphere t-shirts, and a $50 American Express gift card to facilitate my review

I try not to have them on the computer everyday but like you my son has been asking everyday. When he does get on his limit is 1 to 2 hrs. My oldest on the other hand had an IPOD so she has more access than she probably should. Now my baby has been asking and I’ve been putting her off a little because I see she thinks she should get on everyday.
