
If you seen my tweets last night you know how bad I hate Comcast! I switched my cable to Direct TV but I am still stuck with Comcast for internet. We don’t have any other choices except for DSL.  I tried DSL before but working from home the speeds don’t provide me what I need.
When I signed up for Direct TV, I seen they offered a discount for either AT&T DSL service or Satellite Internet powered by WildBlue™ if you do a bundle. I have checked out the price for WildBlue™and was shocked that the price was almost the same.
Wild blue is a great option for someone who doesn’t even have DSL or cable internet in the area, but for someone like me it wouldn’t work since I need VOIP which I don’t think they can handle.
Today my speeds have been good. Comcast support team on twitter tries to respond to any negative tweets and trust me I had many last night!  I have been with them for almost 5 years and the service never gets better. The prices go higher but the service stays the same! I don’t know how they still does this. I was thinking it was just my area but after reading more I know it’s everywhere!
So what provider do you use and how is your service?



Sounds a lot like Charter. My sister always has hell with that company.

We have Direct TV and ever since we purchased a new router(wireless) its been great. I never have a problem with them.

I know your frustrations. I like the cable and internet, but their customer service sucks. For so many people, they are stuck with Comcast…ahem, Xfinity….whether they like it or not. Fortunately for me, Verizon is now available in my area as of last week. I’m scheduled to get FIOS on Monday….yeaaaaaah!
