The ENDANGERBLES Inspiring Children to Respect and Protect all Species (Review & Giveaway)
Teaching kids about the environment and how important each species of animals is can sometimes appear to be a daunting task. Never fear the ENDANGERBLES are here to help. Through song and an interactive website, the ENDANGERBLES teach kids how important it is to protect all the species that reside on our great planet we call Earth.
There are many ENDANGERBLE characters to help guide the children on their way. My personal favorite character is Miss Scarlet the Scarlet Macaw. She is also known as the “Over Dramatic Know-It-All’. She was captured or kidnapped in the rain forest and taken to reside in a Brooklyn, New York pet shop. So sad that many animals end up being captured from the wild and end up in our pet shops, often to lead a miserable existence.
The CD simply entitled the ENDANGERBLES features 10 Original Songs of Music Written by Grammy-Nominated Musician and Performer Fred Bogert. Fred Bogert penned all 10 of the CD’s upbeat tunes in order to carry a message of protecting threatened wildlife and to introduce children of all ages to the wonderful world of animals. My favorite song on the CD is called “Extinction for Extinction” The song talks about more, but the most important part in my opinion is that we need to cause the word extinction to go extinct. There is no reason for any animal to go extinct if we work together to make a difference. Another one of the songs called “Reason to be here” discusses things that need to be done, and people need to be here to do them. “Who is going to make things better than they were before I came along?” All the songs on the CD address important things for kids and yes, even adults to learn.
Besides the CD, the website has interactive things for kids to engage in. Learn about the characters, play games, color, learn about different endangered animals. Kids become a deputy and take the deputy oath saying they will do their best to respect and protect all the species of our planet.
Whatever the age, from kids to adults, things can be learned from the CD and the website that are valuable to future of our animals and our planet. I definitely recommend this CD and website to all who care about this future.
