I am sad to say our ambassador program is now over.  That don’t mean you won’t hear more about Marley because I always have stories about that silly dog.   This program has actually taught me so much! I even learned from a few blog readers that I was actually hurting my dog by letting him eat that stupid cat’s food! I would never want to hurt him and foolish me didn’t have a clue so THANK YOU to the person that brought that to my attention!  Marley now only eats the Pedigree and we will not be changing!  This has been the ONLY dog food that he will eat so I refuse to try anything else.

I feel really good about the visual signs I am now seeing. I think know this was actually what he needed.  I know if Marley could talk he would be like “you crazy woman it took you this long to find something I will eat!” and also thank me for least giving it another chance!  I am recommending all my family and friends to try the new small breed Pedigree.  We have had really great results and I am sure they will also.

I think the biggest change I seen was in Digestion. (I guess so since he was eating cat food that clearly was not giving him what he needed.)  I just want to thank Pedigree and Mom Central Consulting for this great ambassador program.  Without this chance I would have never tried the small breed formula.  I am sure Marley would love to thank them also! Now I feel that we are on the right track!  I just wish I could get him to stop bring out his toys right after I clean the house, and then we would be great!

As you all know Marley Is a Pedigree Ambassador Dog.   If you read my last post then you know that He is not the “normal” dog and don’t really eat regular dog food.   I was very worried that this would not work and he would refuse to eat the dog food.  However, I am happy to report that he is actually eating it and we have fully transitioned to eating only Pedigree!  I know that he is getting better nutrition now and I feel so much better.  He seems to have more energy and is also appearing healthier looking.  His Skin & Coat are noticeably more shiner and his Digestion is better than ever!   We were all shocked that he now prefers dog food over the cat’s food!   Funny to say even the cats have been caught sneaking into his food now!  My Pets are weird! LOL

I am happy to announce that we are a part of the Pedigree Ambassador Dog food trial.  When I heard about this tour, I knew that this was something that I wanted and NEEDED  to be a part of.  It’s no secret that our dog Marley is a part of the family. He actually seems like a child more than a pet.   He is a pom and is a little over 2 years old.  I will admit I had my eyes and heart set on a Yorkie.  I just couldn’t find one.  When we saw Marley for the first time we knew he was the one.   

For the next 6 weeks we will be changing his food to the Pedigree Small Breed Nutrition.  I will be honest we have changed his food many times and still haven’t found the one that is right for him.   He started out with the high price ones from the vet to the regular dog food.   He doesn’t seem to like any of it. The sad part is he actually steals my cat’s food! I know this can’t be healthy for him or the nutrition that he even needs.  He is a DOG and they are umm CATS!   I am guilty of just letting him eat it because he has to eat something!!

When we got our package of the food my daughter looked and me and said “mom he is not going to eat that”.  I laughed it off and told her he has no choice.  She opened the bag and got a small handful and let him eat it from her hands.  WOW he actually ate it.  We put some in his dish mixing it with the cat food (so ashamed I am admitting this) and he kept eating it.  I was shocked.  However, the next few days I noticed he wasn’t eating it like I was hopping.  I was getting worried but kept telling myself if he is hungry he will eat it. I actually now think the reason for that is because it’s actually more filling to him so he don’t need as much!    As hard as it was I just wanted to give in and let him have some stupid cat food but I refused. HE IS A DOG!   Now he is eating it!  I still won’t say that this is what he prefers but it’s a start in the right direction. The other dog foods we tried he would look at it and WALK AWAY! The Pedigree Brand is one of the only brands my grandmother used with her dogs so I trust it.   I have already notice positive results since changing.  He doesn’t have any more stinking gas!  I am hoping this is the answer to our needs.   I am willing to try anything at this point!
