I was recently invited to try the new Carefree Acti-Fresh liners. Ladies if you are like me you want to stay “fresh” at all times.  My purse is always packed with stuff to prevent those mishaps from mints to deodorant, I am always covered.  Just ask my kids!  They get so annoyed at me because if I notice they need to freshen up on the go..I always have the supplies.. and not afraid to offer anybody some.  Some may look at it as rude. However, I look at it as being a mom, and a friend.  I don’t go out of my way to embarrasses anyone I am really trying to help. LOL!!

I tend to use pantiliners when I am exercising for the protection of perspiration or when I am having normal monthly discharge before my “visitor” actually comes.    I have tried many brands but I always have preferred the Carefree brand when it came to pantiliners.  I didn’t think that there was no way to actually improve it. I was wrong!  I love that they are even more absorbing then before and actually thinner!

I am happy to announce that we are a part of the Pedigree Ambassador Dog food trial.  When I heard about this tour, I knew that this was something that I wanted and NEEDED  to be a part of.  It’s no secret that our dog Marley is a part of the family. He actually seems like a child more than a pet.   He is a pom and is a little over 2 years old.  I will admit I had my eyes and heart set on a Yorkie.  I just couldn’t find one.  When we saw Marley for the first time we knew he was the one.   

For the next 6 weeks we will be changing his food to the Pedigree Small Breed Nutrition.  I will be honest we have changed his food many times and still haven’t found the one that is right for him.   He started out with the high price ones from the vet to the regular dog food.   He doesn’t seem to like any of it. The sad part is he actually steals my cat’s food! I know this can’t be healthy for him or the nutrition that he even needs.  He is a DOG and they are umm CATS!   I am guilty of just letting him eat it because he has to eat something!!

When we got our package of the food my daughter looked and me and said “mom he is not going to eat that”.  I laughed it off and told her he has no choice.  She opened the bag and got a small handful and let him eat it from her hands.  WOW he actually ate it.  We put some in his dish mixing it with the cat food (so ashamed I am admitting this) and he kept eating it.  I was shocked.  However, the next few days I noticed he wasn’t eating it like I was hopping.  I was getting worried but kept telling myself if he is hungry he will eat it. I actually now think the reason for that is because it’s actually more filling to him so he don’t need as much!    As hard as it was I just wanted to give in and let him have some stupid cat food but I refused. HE IS A DOG!   Now he is eating it!  I still won’t say that this is what he prefers but it’s a start in the right direction. The other dog foods we tried he would look at it and WALK AWAY! The Pedigree Brand is one of the only brands my grandmother used with her dogs so I trust it.   I have already notice positive results since changing.  He doesn’t have any more stinking gas!  I am hoping this is the answer to our needs.   I am willing to try anything at this point!

I always made jokes about wanting a vacuum that would run on it’s on! NOW I DO! I was recently invited to test out the Neato XV-11 by Robotics. I was very happy to put this to the test! I admit I didn’t really have high expectations. I didn’t think that it was possible that this little machine could live up to all the hype. I am sure if you’re like me you have used the handheld rechargeable vacuums. So this made me believe that enough suction could not be generated by such a device, let alone travel the floor ALONE. I am glad to say that I was wrong!

We have a 2 year old Pomeranian so when I say he sheds a lot. THAT’S A UNDERSTATEMENT! Then add the kids dragging in dirt I am always vacuuming! Neato XV-11 does a great job picking up the pet hair and dirt off the carpet and laminate floors. The setup was very simple; there isn’t much you need to do with the Neato. Just plug in the base station and let it charge up. When you are ready for it to clean, just push the big orange button and off it goes. Once it’s finished in one room, it will start working in the next–or return automatically to its base for recharging and resume cleaning where it left off. I also like that you are able to Schedule everyday cleaning with a few simple button presses and your house is always ready for those unexpected guests, even when you’ve been out all day. This saves me time and With the Neato running daily my floors remains incredibly clean. The amount of pet hair and dirt it picks up is actually amazing. In fact I admit that since I have received the Neato , the only time I use my upright vacuum now is one day a week! That is on Saturday’s when we do a full house cleaning.

My Final Conclusion
I actually love the machine! The $400 price tag is where I have personal concerns; I admit that this machine is great! However Personally I am not sure that I would be willing to convince my husband to buy this. This is nothing I would get rid of my upright for. The power and features are great but I still feel that it’s more as a “helper” then a replacement. The product warranty is a 30-day, money back guarantee and a one year limited warranty. So I would say to at least give it a test for the 30 days and decide personally if the cost is worth it for your family in the long run. However I still would give it 5 stars for the performance!

I am sure that you know by now I am team Iphone and team Ipad! Both are my babies and I protect them like no other.  They go EVERY WHERE with me.  However, I am sad to say that I didn’t have a screen protector on my Ipad till recently!  It wasn’t that I didn’t try! I just couldn’t find one that fit and worked like I wanted.  Most of the ones I tried was cheaply made and had more air bubbles then anything!  I just decided that I would keep my Ipad screen naked! I am sure you can guess what my screen looked liked!  Between me and the kids it was always covered with finger prints!  I am lucky that it never scratched.

The process was very simple! Of course I had to clean my screen due to all those finger prints but after that it was a piece of cake putting it on. I was very impressed that I didn’t have a lot of air bubbles before using the enclosed tool.   Another plus was the package includes 2 protectors!  I will be buying one for my Iphone ASAP!  Thank you 3M!!

If you have a wii and have played just dance, then you know how fun and addicting this game is.  Now That Just Dance 2 is out I must say It’s EVEN BETTER! I really liked the first Just Dance game but this one takes it to a whole new level. There are a lot more songs and the dances are much more challenging.

My kids love this game. It’s great exercise and is helping teach the kids better coordination and rhythm while also getting them up and MOVING! I even have added it as a daily part of my workout plan. It doesn’t feel like working out because it’s so much fun. But you definitely know it’s working after a few songs. The “Just Sweat” feature of the game is a fantastic way to exercise and because each song shows what its “sweat value” is makes it very easy to customize the perfect routine. Also, there are different levels so you can start out nice and easy and work your way toward a more demanding workout. My son does a lot of eye-rolling and snarky comments to me and his sisters but he still is willing to try to out beat our scores lol, however Jasmine seems to be killing us all right now with the highest scores.  Princess Jada is the funniest to watch she gets “all dressed up” to play in her little dress and boots! That girl can kill that Ke$ha – “TiK ToK” and Studio Musicians – “Crazy In Love” dance. I wish I could easily add more recent popular songs so the kids could have their favorites. I did add a few extra ones, but there isn’t a huge selection of what you can buy to add to the catalog.
